The Roman-era theatre of the ancient city of Hierapolis in Pamukkale; on the UNESCO World Heritage list. With a capacity of about 12,000 and natural acoustics, one of Turkeys most impressive open-air stages. Hosts concert and stage programs in summer, a wide range from local artists to international names, opera and symphony programs. An experience watched while seated on ancient stone steps; one of the rare venues needing very little sound setup. Being inside the ancient city, entry follows archaeological site rules. The steps get hard during evening programs; its good to bring a cushion and a light cover.

SoldOut Performance Hall

SoldOut Performance Hall

Karşıyaka, Izmir · 3 upcoming events

A performance hall in Izmir Karsiyaka, inside the Mavibahce Mall. One of the few indoor halls active in the city's regular concert calendar. Its program is broad: Turkish rock and pop concerts, stand-up and DJ nights all find a place on the same calendar. Being an indoor venue lets it operate year-round — filling an important gap outside the months of Izmir's mostly outdoor summer program. Being inside a mall makes parking and access easy; close to the Karsiyaka IZBAN and ferry line. A mix of standing and table seating; entry conditions vary by program.

IF Performance Hall Beşiktaş

IF Performance Hall Beşiktaş

Beşiktaş, Istanbul · 7 upcoming events

The Besiktas branch of IF Performance Hall; in Cihannuma, on Akmaz Cesme Street. Operates on the same line as the chain's hall in Ankara: live music and party nights together. Right in the middle of the Besiktas shopping district, an area dense with students and a young crowd. The program ranges from Turkish rock-pop concerts to DJ nights; runs late on weekends. A standing, close-to-stage layout. Walking distance to the Besiktas pier and bus stops, easy trip home — not true for every venue in Istanbul.

IF Performance Hall

IF Performance Hall

Çankaya, Ankara · 6 upcoming events

A live music venue in Ankara Kavaklidere, on Tunus Street. A large part of the city's regular concert calendar runs through here — a wide-ranging program from Turkish rock and pop bands to DJ nights. Ankara's nightlife is packed into a narrower area compared to Istanbul, and Kavaklidere is the center of that area; IF is that center's best-known stage. A standing, close-to-stage layout, with a flow that runs late on weekends. Walking distance to Kizilay, with plenty of food and drink options nearby. Concert days fill up early; we recommend not going without a ticket.

IF Performance Hall Tepe Prime

IF Performance Hall Tepe Prime

Çankaya, Ankara · 2 upcoming events

The second stage of IF Performance Hall in Ankara; located inside Tepe Prime on Eskisehir Road. Unlike the main hall in Kavaklidere, it sits on the city's western axis, close to business and residential districts. The program follows the chain's familiar line: live music concerts and party nights together, running late on weekends. A standing, close-to-stage layout. Being inside the Tepe Prime complex solves the parking and nearby food-and-drink issue. Since it's far from central Ankara, plan your return trip in advance if using public transport.

Beykoz Kundura

Beykoz Kundura

Beykoz, Istanbul · 5 upcoming events

A cultural campus in Beykoz, converted from a historic shoe factory on the Bosphorus shore. Film shoots, concerts, exhibitions and festival programs all run together within these industrial heritage buildings. This isn't a classic concert venue — it's a large campus; a cinema hall, workshops, open spaces and factory buildings open onto different event formats. Brick walls and high ceilings give it an atmosphere unlike any other stage in Istanbul. On the Anatolian side of the Bosphorus, far from the city center; shuttle service is usually provided for events. Parking is available for those coming by private car; it's worth planning your return trip in advance.
