A large open-air concert area in Macka, on Kadirgalar Street. One of Istanbul's most-used festival and major concert venues; there's little open space of this scale in the city center. The area is wide and standing-room; the stage is high, visible even from the back rows. The Istanbul leg of international names in summer season is mostly held here. Being adjacent to Macka Park and Demokrasi Park eases the pre-concert wait. Walking distance to Taksim and Osmanbey metro stations — for major concerts, public transport is the most practical option, as surrounding roads can close. Since it's open-air, keep an eye on the weather.
