Zigan Aldi
Zigan Aldi is a Turkish-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer known for masterfully blending electronic music with Eastern melodies in a style he calls "Organic Sound." Raised as a shepherd boy in the mountains of Turkey, he migrated to Berlin in his youth, worked jobs ranging from taxi driving to craftsmanship, and shaped his music career in the 1980s spinning Balkan, swing and oriental records at Kreuzberg's Cake Club. Blending minimal techno, melodic techno and deep house with traditional Sinti-Roma melodies, Aldi won wide acclaim for his remix of İpek İpekçioğlu and Hakan Vreskala's "Bir Çift Turna," and made waves with his 2021 "Odin EP." A co-founder of Kamai Music, he is now considered a living legend of Berlin's Kreuzberg music scene.
