Valerie Ace is a Berlin-based DJ, producer and label owner, one of the rising names on the city's young underground techno scene. Her connection to club culture began in 2018 at the Düsseldorf Academy of Fine Arts, turning painting studios into temporary nightclubs for rave parties; she moved into production during the pandemic and relocated to Berlin to fully immerse herself in techno culture. Her career took off in 2021 with a debut EP on SPFDJ's respected label Intrepid Skin, and a 2022 Boiler Room set plus HÖR Berlin appearances brought global recognition. Evolving from a harder, industrial sound toward a more classic Berlin-Detroit-influenced dub techno, Valerie Ace is the founder of her own label, Hardwon, and performs on 4 decks at some of the world's most prestigious techno clubs, including Tresor Berlin and Fold London.
