SATTAS is one of Turkey's first and most important reggae bands, formed in Istanbul in 2004. Founded by vocalist Orcun "Leo" Sunear and drummer Derya Eke, the band blends traditional reggae rhythms with Turkish and English lyrics. With their 2012 debut album "SATTAS," they became pioneers of the reggae genre in Turkey, known for their original track "Eskitilmis" and their cover of Duman's "Aman Aman." Having performed at some of Turkey's biggest festivals, including Zeytinli Rock Festival and Rock'n Coke, SATTAS is regarded as one of the founding names of Turkish-language reggae.
