Santi & Tuğçe
Santi & Tuğçe is an internationally recognized electronic world music duo formed by Paraguayan composer Santiago "Santi" Ferreira and Istanbul-born vocalist and academic Tuğçe Kurtiş. Their story began by chance when they lived as upstairs neighbors at the University of Kansas, and they've been creating music together since 2014, now based out of Berlin. Their multicultural sound blends downtempo, organic house and jazz with Latin American rhythms and Anatolian melodies, moving fluidly between Turkish, Spanish and English lyrics. Having played major festivals across Europe, Asia and the Americas, they're known for tracks like "Paloma" and "Yana Yana."
