Phase Fatale
Phase Fatale, real name Hayden Payne, is an American DJ and producer and one of the leading voices in industrial techno, EBM and post-punk within the modern electronic music scene. Born in New York in 1988, he began his career playing guitar in underground post-punk and shoegaze bands before moving into electronic music, fusing that rebellious rock energy with cold, dark, metallic techno rhythms to create his own dystopian sound. A resident DJ at Berlin's legendary Berghain and Tbilisi's KHIDI club, Payne has released on prestigious labels including Ostgut Ton and Hospital Productions and founded his own label, BITE Records, in 2018. He also runs the project Soft Crash with Pablo Bozzi, which the pair describe as "Italo-Body Music."
