Pe Dro
Pe Dro is a Barcelona-based DJ, producer and sound engineer with a long-running career in electronic music. He started out in the mid-1990s under the influence of breakbeat before quickly gravitating toward Detroit techno and electro, and today plays sets that range across nu disco, deep house and tech house. He moved to Barcelona in 2000 to train as a sound engineer, spending twelve years working on film, theatre and live music productions while continuing to produce music in his own studio. After Barcelona, he headed to Southeast Asia — particularly Ho Chi Minh City's club scene in Vietnam — where his blend of hard-edged techno roots and deeper, more emotive house melodies has built him a dedicated following.
