Or:la, real name Orlagh Dooley, is a Northern Irish-born, world-renowned DJ, producer and label founder who has earned major acclaim on the UK electronic music scene. Raised in Derry before moving to Liverpool to build her music career, she got her start throwing illegal DIY parties in abandoned shops during her university years; known for a "chameleon" style that refuses to stick to one genre, she blends techno, breakbeat, UK bass, house, jungle and dubstep into high-energy sets. Honored with DJ Mag's "Best DJ" award and hosting her own residency on BBC Radio 1, Or:la made waves with her 2017 debut single "UK Lonely," released her debut studio album "Trusting Theta" in 2023 exploring themes of mythology and queer identity, and runs her own label, Céad, founded to support emerging talent. She also runs La Potion, a London club night centered on queer creatives, and continues performing on the main stages of Boiler Room and the world's biggest festivals.
