Joe Armon-Jones is an award-winning English pianist, composer and producer blending jazz, dub, hip-hop, funk and electronic music, considered one of the key figures on London's underground jazz scene. A founding member of the acclaimed British jazz collective Ezra Collective, he was part of the group when they became the first jazz act to win the Mercury Prize in 2023 and were named Group of the Year at the BRIT Awards. He broke through with his debut solo album "Starting Today" (2018) on Gilles Peterson's Brownswood Recordings, and his follow-up "Turn To Clear View" landed on TIME magazine's list of the year's 10 best albums. He founded his own label, Aquarii Records, in 2021, and an alumnus of the Tomorrow's Warriors jazz education program, has collaborated with artists including Nubya Garcia and Tony Allen.
