IGNEZ is a Berlin-based Dutch techno DJ, producer and label owner. Having grown up on the northern coast of the Netherlands, she says the deep, hypnotic, wave-like rhythms in her music draw inspiration from that childhood coastline. Owner of her own label Somov Records, IGNEZ is a resident DJ of the Amsterdam-based Eerste Communie collective and has released collaborative productions with leading techno figure Rodhad. She has also released on respected labels including Token and SK_eleven, and performs at major venues and festivals such as Berlin's legendary Berghain, Amsterdam Dance Event and Brunch Electronik.
