FJAAK is a world-renowned Berlin-based electronic music duo made up of childhood friends Felix Wagner and Aaron Röbig, known for energetic, raw, high-tempo live techno performances played entirely on analog gear. The name "FJAAK" comes from the initials of the band's original four founding members when it formed in 2009 (Felix Wagner, his brother Johannes Wagner, Aaron Röbig, and Kevin Kozicki, who left in 2019 to pursue a solo career as Kev Koko), and the group has continued as the duo of Felix and Aaron ever since. Blending industrial techno, breakbeat, house, UK garage and rave, and favoring hardware synths and drum machines over digital software, they describe themselves as a "techno boyband" because on stage they act more like a live instrumental band than a DJ act. Staying loyal to their roots in Berlin's Spandau district, FJAAK run their own labels — Spandau20, FJAAK and CROWD — and headline some of the world's most prestigious festivals and clubs, including Awakenings, Berghain, Boiler Room and DGTL.
