Eric Duncan
Eric Duncan, known on stage as Dr Dunks, is one of the defining figures of New York's underground disco and house scene. Having relocated from Los Angeles to New York in the mid-1990s, he quickly carved out a lasting place in the city's nightlife and street culture. As one half of Rub 'N' Tug alongside Thomas Bullock, he helped pioneer a theatrical, genre-blurring approach to disco that earned the duo international acclaim, and in 2006 he launched Still Going with Liv Spencer, releasing music through the legendary DFA Records. Beyond DJing, Duncan's roots run deep in skate and street culture — he curated the soundtrack for Girl Skateboards' cult film "Mouse" back in 1996. His remix credits include Beastie Boys, LCD Soundsystem, Coldplay and Grace Jones, and he continues to tour clubs and festivals worldwide with eclectic, disco-rooted sets.
