DJ Strawberry (Emre Ozturk) is an Istanbul-born sound artist, producer and researcher on the electronic music scene. A founding member of Algorave Istanbul, the Turkish arm of the global live-coding music and visuals movement, he is also the bassist of the band Lopenstraat. His music is typically built around 160 bpm rhythms, blending techno, Chicago footwork, juke, ambient, dub and leftfield electronic elements, and he creates innovative compositions that intersect traditional Ryukyu instruments with electronic production. Having released the albums "Cycles" (2022) and "Beyond" (2024) on the Polish label Outlines, DJ Strawberry now continues his work based in Berlin.
