Can Gox, real name Can Göksun, is a leading Turkish Anatolian blues and jazz/rock artist, singer and composer, known for his powerful voice and distinctive style that many music critics have compared to Cem Karaca for both his vocal delivery and tone. Born in Kadıköy in 1976, he studied jazz on scholarship at Istanbul Bilgi University and spent years performing with the group Blues-Mobil; after a stretch away from music working as a corporate manager, he returned fully to his musical career. His breakthrough to wider recognition came through his soundtrack work for the cult 2011 Turkish film "Kaybedenler Kulübü," performing songs like "Wrong Side of the Road" and "Sonsuz" in the film.
