Beste Hira is a Turkish DJ and producer based in Amsterdam who is quickly rising on the international electronic music scene, known for a distinctive style blending the ethnic, dark and groovy sides of techno. Born in Adana in 1994 and raised in Mersin, she was drawn to music at a young age thanks to her musician father and brother, trained in piano and cello at Mersin Fine Arts High School, and graduated from Ondokuz Mayıs University's Music Education/Conservatory program; she began her music career doing production and DJing in Istanbul before moving to Amsterdam in 2019 to build her techno career professionally. Quickly making her mark on Europe's techno scene, Beste Hira has played at some of the world's most prestigious festivals, including Awakenings, DGTL, Amsterdam Dance Event and Amsterdam Open Air, and has released her debut EP "Cos" along with notable productions like "Growlin'" and "I Can."
