Adriana Lopez
Adriana Lopez is a pioneer of the Colombian electronic music scene and one of the most prestigious techno DJs and producers recognized internationally; active in the industry for over 25 years, she's known for a dark, hypnotic, raw and powerful techno sound. Born and raised in Bogotá, she began her career in the late 1990s as a resident DJ at the city's famed clubs Club BarC, Cinema and La Sala, and after becoming the name who put Colombian techno on the global map, moved to Barcelona in 2003 to study sound engineering and music production, where she still lives today. Known for long, patient, controlled sets that build intensity gradually, and owner of the respected label Grey Report, reflecting her own vision, she has also released EPs and tracks on some of techno's most prestigious labels, including PoleGroup, Semantica and BPitch, and has played at iconic clubs like Berghain, Tresor, Fabric and Concrete as well as festivals including Awakenings and DGTL.
