Adamlar is a popular Turkish alternative rock band formed in Istanbul in 2013-2014, blending rock, blues, indie and funk, known for songs full of ironic, heartfelt and deeply observed social commentary that quickly won them a wide fanbase. Made up of vocalist and songwriter Tolga Akdoğan, guitarist Gürhan Öğütücü, bassist Berat İşçioğlu and drummer Berkan Tilavel, the band took its name from cartoonist Cengiz Üstün's comic series "Adamlar Anti Klişe Timi" — its roots trace back to Akdoğan's earlier project "Halimden Konan Anlar." Known for albums like "Eski Dostum Tankla Gelmiş" and "Rüyalarda Buruşmuşuz" and beloved hits like "Koca Yaşlı Şişko Dünya" and "Zombi," Adamlar announced a hiatus from performing in September 2025.
