Izmirs best-known open-air stage. Located inside the Kulturpark Fair Area in Konak, on the Cumhuriyet Gate side; its official name is Kulturpark Ataturk Open-Air Theatre. Run by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality. An amphitheater-style, seated stage. The center of concert, festival and theatre programs in summer season; a large part of Izmirs big event calendar runs through here. Walking distance to Alsancak, reachable by tram and many bus lines. Being open-air, its worth checking the weather and the venues announcements before the program.
